Oucho animated for Sports Relief and CBBC

Karrot animates Oucho the Cactus for CBBC and Sport Relief.

In March 2008 to celebrate BBC’s Sport Relief week, Karrot designed and animated 5 15-second segments bringing to life the sporting aspirations of CBBC’s Cactus puppet presenter, Oucho. In antics voiced by his on-screen partner, comedian Ed Petrie, Oucho was finally able to move beyond the limitations of his pot to try Running, Swimming, Ice Skating, Race Car Driving, and Skiing, all to promote the BBC’s bi-annual charity drive.

Oucho’s sporting dreams aired for a whole week on BBC 1 between Newsround and The Weakest Link, and several times within afternoon links on the CBBC channel.
